 I was recommended to Robin Brown Walton by a professional colleague while in the midst of a daunting family law matter.  As I’d been to many ‘counselors’ over the years with little or no results, my gut reaction wasn’t favorable to the suggestion at first.  But she is well respected in the San Antonio area family law community and with that respect was an impeccable reputation I could not ignore. In my life though, I don’t have time to waste with nebulous psychobabble, the mindless airing of grievances stacked high from years of conflict or tracing the root causes of every minor ache in my psyche—I need results.  To my surprise she was both professional and effective. 

Her direct, no nonsense approach was both a breath of fresh air and helped me through arguably the most difficult sequence of events for me ever.  She didn’t shy from asserting tough strategies for mapping a course through my professional affairs while mired in the thorny circumstances of my private life.  She deserves much of the credit for both the successful outcome of that legal battle and for helping me cope with towering professional challenges during that period.  The plans she helped me hammer out have played huge dividends since as well. Finally, as one sincerely concerned with the moral and ethical implications of any life plan, I was pleasantly surprised she didn’t either challenge these sensibilities rather, her suggestions and solutions were tailored to fit them—a rare find indeed given my previous experiences with others in her line of work.

Since our first meeting, I’ve referred others to her.  These people are successful, driven professionals, who, like me had specific need for a life vector while in the eye of a crisis. Therefore, I didn’t make those recommendations casually.  Never have any of those referrals given her less than rave reviews.  And to anyone else who is tired of standing under the dark cloud of a tough, demoralizing situation, professional or private, searching for viable options for rejoining the path to success, I’d recommend her again and again.
